ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed feeling aggrieved by the inaction of respondent No.3 in disposing of the petitioner’s application filed for shifting of its saw-mill from Hyderabad to Gajuwaka, Visakhapatnam.
At the hearing, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Forests (Andhra Pradesh), on instructions, submitted that on receipt of the petitioner’s application, respondent No.3 has called for reports from respondent Nos.5 and 6 and that while respondent No.5 has submitted his report, respondent No.6 has so far not submitted his report. He has further submitted that in view of the division of the State, as interstate shifting is involved, the petitioner’s application could not be disposed of. He has, however, assured that respondent No.3 will dispose of the petitioner’s application keeping in view the changed circumstances within a reasonable time.
In the light of the above submissions of learned Government Pleader, respondent No.3 is directed to dispose of the petitioner’s application in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioner.
Subject to the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
As a sequel, WPMP.No.44208 of 2014 is dismissed as infructuous.
