Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, Ms. Anjali Upadhya who appears for the respondent No. 2 and the learned Standing Counsel for the State.
The sole prayer which is addressed on this petition is for the respondents being commanded to consider the claim of the petitioners for regularisation in light of the Government Order of 24 February 2016 as well as the judgment rendered in Special Appeal No. 790 of 2018.
Ms. Anjali Upadhya, learned counsel appearing for the second respondent, states that subject to verification of all facts and contentions on merits being kept open, the claim of the petitioners as noted above shall be duly examined and disposed of in accordance with law. Ms. Upadhya further states that all endeavour shall be made to communicate a final decision with expedition and preferably within a period of three months from the date of presentation of a duly authenticated copy of this order.
Accordingly and without going into the merits or otherwise of the claim of the petitioners, this petition shall stand disposed of in light of the statement noted above.
