Heard learned advocates for the parties.

The petitioner is at liberty to pursue the remedy of representation to the District Superintendent of Police, Amreli and the District Superintendent of Police, Amreli is directed to decide the representation in accordance with law. The respondent police authority shall take all preventive steps to maintain the law and order in the area and if need be necessary protection be given to the petitioner.

With the aforesaid, this petition stands disposed of.
