Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri Sanjay Kumar Singh, learned Standing Counsel.
The petitioner is before this Court for a direction to second respondent to decide stay application dated 15.10.2018 in Appeal No.(2018) 3000001663 (Rubeena v. State of U.P. & Ors.) within stipulated period.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the issue and with the consent, the writ petition stands disposed of asking the second respondent to decide the aforesaid stay application in accordance with law preferably within three weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order but certainly after giving opportunity to the parties concerned and without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
