JUDGMENT / ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the 2nd respondent submitted that the matter has been settled out of court and in support of this plea, he produced a letter dated 23.2.2017 addressed by the Tamil Nadu Board of Rural Development to Mrs.N.G.Kalaiselvi, Advocate, wherein it is stated as follows:
"Madam, Sub: W.P.12771/03- High Court In the above matter, the petitioner Supriya had already received her dues by way of Cheque as early as 3.11.03 and her counsel had acknowledged the same. Hence the dispute had been settled in 2003 itself. She had also vacated her accommodation. Hence I request you to inform the court of the above settlement and W.P may be dismissed as settled out of court and I am enclosing the compromise letter."
2. Recording the above, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
