JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioners filed this petition to call for the records and quash the proceedings against the petitioners in M.C.No.A5/520/2013 on the file of the Sub Divisional cum Revenue Divisional Officer, Sivakasi, dated 07.06.2013 insofar as the petitioners are concerned.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that there is a civil dispute pending between the between the B party and the A party. Based on the same, the first respondent had initiated proceedings under Section 111 of Cr.P.C. and issued impugned summons to the petitioners and directed the A party to appear before the Revenue Divisional Officer on 17.06.2013 at 10.00 a.m., and also directed the B party to appear before the Revenue Divisional Officer on 19.06.2013 at 10.00 a.m.
3. Aggrieved over the same, the petitioners filed this criminal original petition, in the year 2013. Therefore, I do not find anything survives for adjudication in this case, after a lapse of four years. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is closed giving liberty to the petitioners to work out their remedy in the manner known to law, if so advised. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
