This writ petition is filed seeking a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to issue fresh patta in the names of the petitioners and delete the names of the respondents 3 to 5 in so far as the property comprised in S.No.226/7, Koduvilarpatti Village, Theni Taluk, based on the petitioners' representation, dated 25.04.2012.

3.The case of the petitioners is that the petitioners are the owners of punja land admeasuring 0.80 cents comprised in Survey No.226/7, Koduvilarpatti Village and the patta for the same has been wrongly transferred to one Kandavelsamy, who is the father of the respondents 3 to 5. Therefore, the petitioners made a representation dated 25.04.2012 to the respondents 1 and 2. Since the same has not been considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court.
4.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice, if the representation of the petitioner dated 25.04.2012, is disposed of by the second respondent as per law.
5.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 25.04.2012, and pass appropriate orders, if not disposed of earlier, on its own merit and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties, including the respondents 3 to 5, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.The writ petition is disposed of as above. No costs.
