JUDGMENT / ORDER

It is seen that this petitioner is having some disputes with one Thenappan Chettiyar and others with regard to certain properties and that the petitioner has sent a representation dated 17.03.2017 through registered post to the respondents herein and thereafter, filed this petition for CBI enquiry and for appropriate action.
2. In the considered opinion of this Court, in private dispute of this nature, the mandamus that has been prayed for by the petitioner cannot be granted, as there is no statutory duties cast upon the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representation.
3. In the result, the writ petition is devoid of merits and accordingly, the same is dismissed. No costs.
