JUDGMENT / ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, apart from perusing the record. Since the issue lies in a narrow compass, this Court proposes to dispose of the writ petition at the admission stage itself. 2. Briefly stated, the petitioner, a retired employee of the respondent Corporation, seeking upgradation and additional increments as provided under clause 12 of the Pay Revision Agreement of 2008, filed Exhibit P6 representation before the first respondent.
3. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is also entitled to revision of pension in the wake of the Pay Revision Agreements of 2008 and 2012. He has further submitted that the issue stands concluded in terms of Exhibit P7 judgment.
WPC 31744/14 2
4. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Corporation has submitted that since Exhibit P6 representation is pending before the first respondent, it may not be appropriate for this Court to adjudicate the issue on merits at this juncture.
Be that as it may, in the facts and circumstances, having regard to the respective submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Corporation, this Court, without adverting to the merits of the matter, disposes of the writ petition with a direction to the respondent Corporation to consider Exhibit P6 representation of the petitioner keeping in view Exhibit P7 judgment of this Court, if it has any application and pass appropriate orders thereon, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
