This Criminal Original Petitions have been filed to quash the proceedings in CC Nos.1272 of 2016, 1162 of 2016 and 1163 of 2016 pending before the VII Metropolitan Magistrate Court, George Town, Chennai.

Today, when the matters are taken up, the learned counsel for the respondent submitted that the respondent/complainant has no objection in quashing the proceedings in CC Nos.1272 of 2016, 1162 of 2016 and 1163 of 2016 pending before the VII Metropolitan Magistrate Court, George Town, Chennai. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.
3. In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the respondent/complainant, the proceedings in CC Nos.1272 of 2016, 1162 of 2016 and 1163 of 2016 pending before the VII Metropolitan Magistrate Court, George Town, Chennai are quashed and the all the Criminal Original Petitions are allowed as far as the petitioner is concerned. Consequently, connected Crl.MPs are closed.
