1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.
2. This petition has been filed praying for a direction to the police authorities to give protection to the petitioners as they have married without their parents' approval.
3. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that both the petitioners are major and they have married out of their own sweet will on 22.11.2019 at Arya Samaj, Chandra Nagar, Kanpur Nagar and they got their marriage also registered in the office of the Registrar, Hindu Marriages on 22.11.2019. A copy of the Marriage Certificate has been filed as Annexure-4 to the petition.
4. Both the petitioners are present in Court and they look to be major.
5. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that since the petitioners have married against the wishes of their parents, they are being harassed by their family members.
6. This petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioners to approach the S.H.O., Police Station Khaga, District Fatehpur, who shall extend all necessary help and protection to the petitioners in terms of the Government Order dated 31.08.2019.
