This is a petition filed under section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure seeking transfer of O.P.No.561/2013 pending before the Family Court, Thalassery to Family Court, Kalpetta for trial and disposal. 2. Suffice to say that the marital relationship between the petitioner and the respondent became bitter and that resulted in the litigations. It is stated that from 13.5.2009 onwards they were living separately. The respondent instituted proceedings before the Family Court, Thalassery as O.P.No.561/2013 for dissolution of marriage.
3. The petitioner points out that she is at present residing at the mercy of certain nuns at C.M.C. Convent, Kenichira and she is working as a maidservant there. She finds it extremely difficult to go over to Family Court, Thalassery to attend the posting of the case as there is nobody to accompany her and she is in considerable financial difficulties. She therefore prays that the matter may be transferred to Family Court, Kalpetta.

4. Though notice was served on the respondent, there is no appearance on his behalf and no objection was filed for transfer.
5. Considering the difficulty pointed out by the petitioner and since there is no objection on the part of the respondent, it is only proper that the relief prayed for by the petitioner be granted.
Hence this transfer petition is allowed and O.P.No.561/2013 pending before the Family Court, Thalassery shall stand transferred to Family Court, Kalpetta.
