The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioners praying for a writ of mandamus directing the Settlement Officer of Consolidation, Moradabad, i.e., respondent no. 2 to decide Case No. 1 of 2019 under Section 5(1)(c)(i) of the Uttar Pradesh Consolidation of Holdings Act, 1953 pending in the court of Settlement Officer of Consolidation, Moradabad.
Without entering into the merits of the case, the Settlement Officer of Consolidation, Moradabad, i.e., respondent no. 2 is directed to decide the aforesaid case within a period of two months from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him, in case, there is no legal impediment in deciding the aforesaid case.
With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
