The petitioners have filed this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India with a prayer to direct the respondents to provide adequate police protection to the petitioners to obtain documentary proof of birth date of the petitioner No.1 from her parental home since the petitioners apprehend threat to their lives.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent authority is directed to assist the petitioners in getting petitioner No.1's birth certificate from her parental home without charging any amount.
With the aforesaid, this petition stands disposed of.
Notice is discharged. There shall be no order as to costs.
