JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioners have filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioners pending before the 2nd respondent within a time frame.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that though the petitioners have filed the appeal challenging the order passed by the 1st respondent on 29.04.2015, the 2nd respondent has not disposed of the same yet.
3. Mrs.K.Bhuvaneswari, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents and submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to dispose of the appeal within a time frame in accordance with law.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 29.04.2015 filed by the petitioners, after giving an opportunity of hearing to all the interested parties, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
