Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.A. for the State.
The present writ petition has been filed with the prayer to quash the First Information Report dated 30.09.2020 registered as Case Crime No.689 of 2020 under Section 366 IPC, Police Station Chiluatal, District Gorakhpur.
Sri Arunendra Kumar Singh, learned A.G.A. states that final report has already been submitted in the matter. As such, the cause of filing the writ petition no more survives and the writ petition is liable to be dismissed as infructuous.
In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous with liberty to the petitioner to apply for bail as permissible under law and in accordance with law.
