The petitioner, who is defendant in Original Suit No.1760 of 2012, has prayed for a direction to the trial court to decide the suit expeditiously.
Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had filed written statement long back in the year 2012 but even issues have not been framed so far. He further states that although for some time, the court was vacant but now a Presiding Officer has been duly posted.
The trial court is directed to forthwith proceed to frame the issues and fix date for evidence of the parties and thereafter conclude the trial by fixing short dates and without granting unnecessary adjournments, provided there is no legal impediment.
The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
