Heard learned counsel for the petitioner; learned A.G.A. for the respondents 1 and 2; and perused the record.
The instant petition seeks quashing of the first information report dated 22.02.2021 registered as Case Crime No.117 of 2021, under Section 366 IPC; P.S. Kotwali, District Mainpuri.
The allegation is that informant's daughter Rashmi, aged about 22 years, has been enticed away by the petitioner.
The petitioner has filed this petition seeking quashing of the first information report on the ground that the victim is admittedly an adult and she is voluntarily with the petitioner.
If that is so, the petitioner may produce the victim before the investigating officer of the case, who shall record the statement of the victim after ascertaining her identity and thereafter shall take action as per law.
With the aforesaid liberty, the petition is disposed off. Order Date :- 7.4.2021 Sunil Kr Tiwari
