JUDGMENT / ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the second respondent to permit the petitioner to appear for B.E Electrical and Electronics Engineering Exams, which was said to have been conducted on 17.05.2017 to 01.06.2017.
2. The Petitioner is an enginnering student of 3rd year B.E. Electrical and Electronics Enginnering in the Tamil Nadu College of Enginnering, Coimbatore. He has cleared all the 1st year and 2nd year papers with first class. The petitioner was staying in the hostel and that the quality of the food got deteriorated and later it became even worse. Therefore, he joined the hostel students group and raised voice against the acts being committed in the hostel with regard to the quality of food served in the hostel and demanded good food to be provided to the students. The petitioner was forced to vacate the hostel. The petitioner was also issued with notice on 11.04.2017 alleging that he misbehaved with the college mates and with untenable allegations. However, the petitioner had extended his unconditional apology along with his parents and he was advised not to repeat the same mistakes again and was permitted to pay the third year examination fees. Thereafter, the petitioner was permitted to write the sixth semester lab examinations between 12.04.2017 and 15.04.2017 and he was also issued with hall ticket to appear and write the arrear examinations that was held on 08.05.2017. The petitioner was not issued with the hall ticket to appear for the theoretical examination that was to be conducted on 10.05.2017 and from 17.05.2017 to 01.06.2017. As the hall ticket had not been issued to the petitioner, he had moved this Court to direct the second respondent to permit the petitioner to appear for B.E.Electrical and Electronics Engineering. By order dated 25.05.2017, this Court had permitted the petitioner to write the examination.
3. Pursuant to the order of this Court, the petitioner was permitted to sit for the examination. It is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that nothing survives in this writ petition and the same has become infructuous.
4. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
