The instant petition has been filed challenging the order dated 27.10.2018 passed by the District Magistrate, Bijnor under Section 6-A of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955.
Against the order of confiscation under Section 6-A of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955, an appeal lies under Section 6-C of the said Act.
Accordingly, the petitioner has an efficacious remedy to challenge the said order.
The petition is, therefore, disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to avail alternative remedy.
