By the instant petition, petitioners seek the following relief:
"(i) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 2 i.e. Sub Divisional Magistrate, Tehsil Aurai, District Sant Ravidas Nagar to decide the case no. T2016166762061485 of 2016 (Riyazul Hasnain and another versus Dileep Kumar and others) under section 116 Revenue Code 2006 situated at Mauja Puremudiya, Tehsil Aurai, District Sant Ravidas Nagar (Bhadohi), expeditiously as possible as within short stipulated period as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court which is pending before Sub Divisional Magistrate Tehsil Aurai, District Sant Ravidas Nagar."
On perusal of the pleadings and material placed on record, this Court does not find any reason to expedite the aforesaid case. In view thereof, writ petition is dismissed.
However, it is provided that in the event of the petitioner making an application to expedite the aforesaid case pending before the competent court, it is expected that the same shall be considered and decided, in accordance with law.
