Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-
"(i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no. 2, Tehsildar (Judicial), Sadar, Azamgarh to decide the Case No. 784 of 2016, computerized case no. T- 2016150601236 (Smt. Ritu Singh Vs. Diwakar) under section 34 of U.P. Land Revenue Act, 1901 regarding Mauza - Sidhari, Tappa - Harbanspur, Pargana - Nizamabad, Tehsil - Sadar, District - Azamgarh, which is pending in the court of Tehsildar (Judicial), Sadar, Azamgarh within stipulated period from command of this Hon'ble Court."
The petitioner is aggrieved because a mutation case filed in the year 2016 has not been decided finally till date.
The writ petition is disposed of with the observation that the respondent no. 2, Tehsildar (Judicial), Sadar, Azamgarh should endeavour to decide the mutation case as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
