Heard Sri Shyam Kishore Yadav, learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel for the respondent- State.
Sri Shyam Kishore Yadav, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have applied for scrutiny of their answer-sheets in various subjects in the Intermediate Examination held in the year 2019. The petitioner No.1 has applied for scrutiny of the answer-sheet in the subjects of Mathematics and General Hindi. The petitioner No.2 has applied for scrutiny of the answer-sheet in the subjects of Mathematics and Physics. The petitioner No.3 has applied for scrutiny of the answer-sheet in the subject of Mathematics. The only prayer made by Sri Shyam Kishore Yadav, learned counsel for the petitioner is that the applications for scrutiny of the answer sheets of the petitioners in the aforesaid subjects may be decided within a stipulated period of time.
Learned Standing Counsel has no serious objection to the aforesaid prayer.
The matter is remitted back to the respondent No.2-Board of High School and Intermediate, Prayagraj.
A writ of mandamus is issued commanding the respondent No.2-Board of High School and Intermediate, Prayagraj to decide the scrutiny applications submitted by the petitioners in the respective subjects mentioned above in the Intermediate Examination, 2019 within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order along with a fresh application for scrutiny. In case there is any defect in the scrutiny applications, the respondent No.2-Board of High School and Intermediate, Prayagraj shall give an adequate opportunity to the petitioners to cure the defects.
With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is finally disposed off.
