At the outset, it is contended by Sri Vishnu Shanker Gupta, learned Advocate for the respondent-L.I.C., that under the Regulation 46(1) of the Life Insurance Corporation of India (Staff) Regulations, 1960, an alternative statutory remedy to approach the Zonal Manager, Life Insurance Corporation of India, Kanpur Zone, is available to the petitioner.
Having perused the Regulation 46(1) and the order impugned, this Court finds that the petitioner has an efficacious statutory remedy.
The writ petition is, therefore, dismissed on the ground of alternative remedy.
