Heard Sri Puneet Kumar Shukla, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Vikas Budhwar, learned counsel for the respondent no.3 and the learned Chief Standing Counsel.
The petitioner has preferred this petition to decide his representation dated 6.11.2020. Further grievance of the petitioner is that respondent no.2 be restrained from issuing a N.O.C to respondent no.4 for establishing a retail outlet of Bharat Petroleum Corporation.
Shri Vikas Budhwar for the corporation submits that the competent authority shall endeavour to decide the representation dated 6.11.2020 and no useful purpose would be served by keeping this petition pending, same be disposed of.
This writ petition is disposed of with the direction to respondent no.3 to decide the pending representation dated 6.11.2020, or a fresh representation, as the case may be, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within six weeks from the date of receipt of this order, in accordance with law, by a reasoned / speaking order, under intimation to the petitioner.
