Heard learned counsel for the parties.
By means of present writ petition, the petitioner is requesting this Court is direct the second respondent to reckoned the services of the petitioner before his regularization as qualifying service for the purpose of computation of pension and to release his pension w.e.f. 01.08.2019 with 8% interest. Further prayer has been made to command the second respondent to pay amount of gratuity after counting the services prior to regularization with regular service, which has not been paid.
In support of his submission, learned counsel for the petitioner has placed reliance on a decision of Hon'ble the Apex Court in Prem Singh v. State of Uttar Pradesh and ors., Civil Appeal No. 6798 of 2019 dated 02.09.2019.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, no useful purpose would be served in keeping the writ petition pending consideration.
With the consent of parties, without adverting on the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of asking the Competent Authority to look into the grievance of the petitioner and redress the same expeditiously, preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order, keeping in mind the law laid down by Hon'ble the Apex Court in Prem Singh (supra).
