On perusal of the judgment, it reveals that there is a word "Selhi" used in the judgment, which was said to be pivot this occurrence, because the same was admitted to be given in her marriage and was not given, resulting annoyance of in-laws and frequent demand of the same, coupled with cruelty for it, resulting this unnatural death within one month and ten days of marriage, at nuptial house. What does this "Selhi" means? Neither the learned counsel for the appellant nor learned A.G.A. and even this Court is not aware of this word "Selhi". This Court through Circular letter as well as direction in Judicial side has directed each Subordinate Courts to High Court for writing the standard words in judgment and if any local word is being written, it requires to be written with its English meaning or a word/synonyms of word either in Hindi or English, so that this may never raise any confusion at this stage or before Appellate Court or Revisional Court. But the same is not in this judgment.
Hence, let the meaning of this word "Selhi" be obtained from public prosecutor, who has conducted this prosecution as well as from Judge, who has delivered this judgment.
District and Sessions Judge, Deoria, to get and file explanation of their concerned judge as to why such type of word has been written in judgment without giving their synonyms arising such confusion.
