Heard Sri Ashutosh Kumar, Advocate holding brief of Sri Birendra Kaushik, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Prabhash Pandey, learned Brief Holder appearing for the State and perused the impugned F.I.R. as well as material brought on record.
The relief sought in this petition is for quashing of the F.I.R. dated 19.05.2018 registered as Case Crime No. 129 of 2018, under Sections 376-D, 506 IPC Police Station- Jawan, District Aligarh.
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the writ petition may be dismissed as not pressed as the co-accused persons have surrendered in the present case. The writ petition has become infructuous.
The writ petition is accordingly dismissed.
