Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.A. for the State of U.P.
The petitioner has approached this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India with a prayer to quash the notice dated 30.8.2017, issued by the respondent no.2, Additional District Magistrate,Etawah under section 3(1) of U.P. Control of Goondas Act, in case No. 23 of 2017, P.S. Kotwali, District Etawah.
The petitioner has statutory remedy to file the reply of the notice issued by the respondent no. 2, Additional District Magistrate, Etawah.
In view of above, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to the petitioner to avail the statutory remedy available to him by filing his reply to the aforementioned notice issued by the Additional District Magistrate, Etawah.
The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
