THE HON’BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE SRI KALYAN JYOTI SENGUPTA AND THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 27987 of 2014 ORDER: (Per the Hon’ble The Chief Justice Sri Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta) The 3rd respondent has filed counter affidavit and the same is taken on record.
It is stated in the said counter affidavit that the alleged detenus were arrested in connection with a criminal case and remanded to the judicial custody by the appropriate Magistrate.
Hence, we close the writ petition without passing any order. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to approach the appropriate Court for release of the detenus in accordance with law. No costs.
