This Contempt petition has been filed to initiate contempt proceedings against the contemnors/respondents and punish them for their willful disobedience of the order of this Court in W.P.(MD) No.10358 of 2016, dated 13.06.2016.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for T.N.S.T.C., appearing for the respondents.
3. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents reported compliance by stating that the amount towards Gratuity has been paid and the amount towards Leave Salary, a Cheque, dated 24.06.2017 has also been issued. According to the learned Standing Counsel, there is no payment due.
4. Since entire dues have been settled, this Contempt petition is closed, with a direction to the respondents to honour the Cheque, dated 24.06.2017.
