JUDGMENT / ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents, apart from perusing the record. Since the issue lies in a narrow compass, this Court proposes to dispose of the writ petition at the admission stage itself. 2. Briefly stated, the petitioner, being the Manager of St.Stephen's English Medium School, Mudiappally, Thiruvalla, made Exhibit P3 application to the third respondent seeking recognition of the School. As could be seen from the record, the third respondent forwarded Exhibit P3 application to the second respondent on 25.11.2013. Presently, Exhibit P3 application is said to have been pending with the second respondent. Complaining of WPC 26708/14 2 the delay on the part of the second respondent in considering the said application and forwarding it to the first respondent with necessary recommendation or observation, the petitioner has approached this Court.
In the facts and circumstances, having regard to the respective submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader, this Court, without adverting to the merits of the matter, disposes of the writ petition with a direction to the second respondent to consider Exhibit P3 application of the petitioner in accordance with law and forward it to the first respondent as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
