JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 30.01.2017 to pay the arrears due to the petitioner
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as learned counsel appearing for the respondents.
3. Mr.D.Sivaraman, learned Standing counsel takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
4. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner, dated 30.01.2017, is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, within the time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5.Considering the limited scope of prayer in the Writ petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court pass the following directions:
The respondents 1 to 3 are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 30.01.2017, regarding the payment of arrears to the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. Accordingly, the Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
