1. This petition has been filed by the petitioners alleging that both the petitioners are major as per the date of birth mentioned in the Aadhar-Card.
2. They have solemnized marriage out of their own sweet will through a Notarized affidavit but the said Notarized affidavit is not recognized under the law. The petitioners are directed to perform their marriage in a Temple as per Hindu law and Customs and then approach the Marriage Registration Officer under the U.P. Marriage Rules of 2017 by filing On-line application.
3. This petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioners to approach the S.H.O., P.S. Kotwali, District Shamli, who shall extend all help and protection to the petitioners in terms of the Government Order dated 31.08.2019, after such application is made before the Marriage Registration Officer.
