JUDGMENT / ORDER

ANTONY DOMINIC , J.
This Original Petition is filed seeking a direction to the Kerala Administrative Tribunal, Thiruvananthapuram to dispose of O.A.No.430/2013 in a time bound manner, at any rate within one month.
2. The Administrative Tribunal is established under the provisions of the Administrative Tribunals Act. The Tribunal is subject to the supervisory jurisdiction of this Court under Article 227 of the Constitution of India and the law in this behalf is settled by the Apex Court in its judgment in L.Chandra Kumar v. Union of India (1997(3) SCC 261). However, such a supervisory power cannot be extended to interfere with the day- to-day functioning of the Tribunal, such as requiring the Tribunal to dispose of the matter in the manner as sought for by an applicant like the petitioner.
O.P.(KAT)No.407/14 -2-
3. We are therefore not inclined to pass an order, as sought for.
The Original Petition is dismissed.
