Heard Shri Alok Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The petitioner had applied pursuant to an Advertisement No. 46 in 2014 for selection of Assistant Professor in affiliated degree colleges. The petitioner was placed at serial no. 5 in the waiting list. He submits that four candidates above to him in the waiting list have already jointed, but petitioner's claim has not been considered for the post of Assistant Professor (Psychology) although two candidates who were selected never joined and, therefore, his claim be considered.
The writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the Director-respondent no. 2 that in case the petitioner is at serial no. 5 and there exits any vacancy to which the petitioner has the qualification and eligibility and no person above the petitioner is eligible, the claim of the petitioner be considered and decided, as far as possible, within a month from the date a certified copy of this order is presented before it.
