JUDGMENT / ORDER

Manjula Chellur, C.J.
Heard learned counsel for petitioners as well as learned Government Pleader.
2. The entire dispute seems to be on account of strained matrimonial relationship between first petitioner and fourth respondent. According to petitioner, third party by name 'Himavala Badrananda' is making threatening calls to petitioners 2 and 3 indicating dire consequences, unless they settle the issues with the fourth respondent. According to petitioners, in spite of bringing these facts to the notice of respondent police, they have not made efforts to trace the whereabouts of said notorious person Himavala Badrananda, therefore, they are before this Court.
3. According to learned Government Pleader, there are cases and counter cases against first petitioner and fourth respondent apart from matters pending before Family court. Their enquiry led to the information that relative of fourth respondent approached petitioners WP(C).11311/14 2 for some documents belonging to fourth respondent and other than that there was no third party interfering with the matter as alleged by petitioners. However, if there is any untoward incident or apprehension, the parties are at liberty to request the respondent police to take action.
4. During submission, learned counsel for the petitioners himself says, petitioners received international calls and they are apprehending henchmen of Himavala Badrananda to cause trouble to them. If really such trouble is apprehended, it is always open to petitioners to make phone call to police station concerned and seek assistance. A blanket order of police protection cannot be granted directing respondent police to post a civil police officer without knowing the real trouble maker. However, if such constant telephone calls are coming to petitioners, they are at liberty to bring the same to the notice of respondent police, who shall do the needful in accordance with the procedure contemplated.
With the above observations, the Writ Petition is closed.
