Petitioner claims to have been appointed as Librarian and is presently posted in the College of Teachers Education. Her grievance is that persons similarly placed, who have been posted as Librarian in Central State Library and District Library, have been granted benefit of pay scale of Rs. 9300- 34800 in the grade pay of Rs. 4600, pursuant to the Government Order dated 5.6.2013 but all those similarly placed Librarian who have been posted in College of Teachers Education have been denied such benefit.
It is alleged that various representations made in that regard have remained pending and petitioner's grievance has not been examined so far.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that petitioner's grievance shall be examined by the authority concerned, in accordance with law, at the first instance.
In the facts and circumstances, noticed above, this writ petition stands disposed of directing the respondent no. 2 to accord consideration to petitioner's claim, keeping in view the applicable Government Orders, by passing a reasoned order within a period of three months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not examined petitioner's entitlement on merits and all issues are left open to be examined by the authority concerned, at the first instance.
