… Respondents This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to direct the respondent to extend the benefit of “RINN SAMADHAN 18-19” Scheme to the petitioner and consider the request of the petitioner in accordance with law and etc.
This Petition coming on for Preliminary Hearing, this day, the Court made the following:-
ORDER Sri.M.Mohamed Ibrahim, learned counsel for the petitioner.
Taking into account the order which this Court proposes to pass, it is not necessary to issue notice to the respondents.
In this petition, the petitioner inter alia has prayed for the following reliefs:
“a. A Writ of Mandamus by directing the Respondent to extend the benefit of “RINN SAMADHAN 18-19” scheme to the Petitioner and consider the request of the Petitioner in accordance with law.
b. Any other relief or reliefs to which the Petitioner is entitled to, under the facts and circumstances of the case.”
2. When the matter was taken up today, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is interested in settling the account and a writ of mandamus be issued directing the respondents to extend the benefit of “RINN SAMADHAN 18-19” Scheme to the petitioner and to consider the request made by him in accordance with law.
3. In view of the aforesaid submission and in the facts of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the competent authority of the respondent-Bank to consider and decide the representation submitted by the petitioner under the “RINN SAMADHAN 18-19” Scheme by a speaking order within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the certified copy of the order passed today.
It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
