JUDGMENT / ORDER

ORDER:
In this writ petition, petitioner, who is a third party, questions the impugned order of the Collector, dated 02.06.2014, finding that the caste certificate of respondent No.7 as genuine.
2. Petitioner had earlier approached this court in W.P.No.39407 of 2013 seeking directions against the Collector to enquire into and verify the social status of respondent No.7. Said writ petition was disposed of by this court on 02.01.2014 directing the Collector to make appropriate enquiries. Present impugned order is passed by the Collector after enquiry finding that the Certificate is genuine.
3. Since the petitioner has remedy of appeal/revision against the impugned order before the Government, I am not inclined to entertain the writ petition. Petitioner is at liberty to pursue the said alternative remedy, if he so desires.
Subject to the liberty aforesaid, the writ petition is dismissed.
As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
