Petitioner's husband was Follower in U.P. Police, who has died in harness on 2.3.2017. Consequently, an application has been filed for grant of compassionate appointment, which is pending consideration before the authority concerned. As no decision has been taken, petitioner has approached this Court for a direction upon respondents to consider petitioner's claim, in accordance with law.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that grievance of petitioner shall be considered, in accordance with law.
In the facts and circumstances, noticed above, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction upon respondent no.2 to accord consideration to petitioner's claim, in accordance with law, by means of a reasoned order, within a period of four months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
