THIS CRIMINAL REVISION PETITION COMING ON FOR CONCILIATION BEFORE THE LOK ADALAT, THE FOLLOWING ORDER IS PASSED:
CONCILIATION ORDER This Criminal Revision Petition is filed by the accused against the judgment dated 3.5.2017 made in Criminal Appeal No.49/2016 by the Principal Sessions Judge, Udupi confirming the order dated 1.6.2016 made in C.C.No.1526/2012 by the III Additional Civil Judge and Judicial Magistrate First Class, Udupi.
2. The petitioner-accused and the respondent- complainant along with their respective Counsel are present.
3. After prolonged negotiations, the matter is settled. The petitioner-accused has agreed and paid a sum of Rs.54,000/- (Rupees Fifty Four Thousand only) to the respondent-complainant in full and final settlement of the claim. A joint memo is filed on behalf of the parties to this effect.
4. Out of the enhanced amount, the petitioner- accused has deposited a sum of Rs.20,000/- on 29.7.2015 before the Principal Civil Judge and JMFC., Udupi in C.C.NO.1526/2012. Now she is handing over two demand drafts bearing No.348569 dated 28.8.2017 for a sum of Rs.25,000/- and No.349069 dated 9.11.2017 for a sum of Rs.9,000/- to the respondent. The same is acknowledged by the respondent.
5. In view of the above, the entire amount has been paid. The amount of deposit of Rs.20,000/- before the Court is directed to be released in favour of the complainant forthwith.

Respondent/s JOINT MEMO The petition is filed against the Judgment passed in CRL .A NO. 49/2016 on the File of the PRINCIPAL SESSIONS JUDGE,UDUPI, IN CONFIRMING THE ORDER IN CC NO. 1526/2012, 3RD ADDL. CIVIL JUDGE & JMFC UDUPI, has been referred to this LokAdalat by the Hon'ble High Court U/S.20 of the Legal Services Authorities Act.1987. The parties to the petition have settled their claim before the Lok Adalat on the following terms:
The petitioner has agreed and paid a sum of Rs.54,000/- to the respondent. Out of the compensation amount of Rs.20,000/- deposited in PRL.CIVIL.JUDGE AND JMFC, UDUPI, IN CC NO. 1526/2012. And Sum of Rs.25,000/- paid to the respondent by way of DD No.348569 Dt: 28.08.2017, and the balance of Rs.9,000/- is paid to the respondent by way of DD No.349069 Dt: 09.11.2017. The petitioner have no objection to withdraw the Rs.20,000/- which was deposited before the Trial Court by the Respondent/Complianant.
The parties to this petition have set their hands to this settlement before the Lok Adalat in the presence of Conciliators on this 09/12/2017 at Bengaluru Bench.
