This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to take appropriate action under Section 82 and 83 of the Registration Act and as per Circular 67 for the illegal registration of the sale deed bearing Document No.508/2011, dated 02.02.2011 and Document No.1017/2011, dated 9.3.2011 by considering the representation of the Petitioner dated 14.10.2016 within the time frame determined by this Court.
2.Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3.
3.By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
4.Though the Petitioner has sought for a larger relief for a direction to the second respondent to take action under
Section 82 and
83 of the Registration Act, the learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that he would be satisfied if the representation of the Petitioner, dated 14.10.2016 is directed to be considered by the second respondent, within the time frame specified by this Court.
5.In view of the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition and without going into the merits of the claim made by the Petitioner, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 14.10.2016 on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass orders on the same, after notice to the parties concerned, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. Consequently,connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
