Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.
The petitioner claims that he is a resident of Village Barahani, District Chandauli. He has invoked the writ jurisdiction of this Court for a direction upon the respondents to provide the benefit of water for agricultural purposes as the village is covered by the Chari Lift Canal Project (Public Interest Project).
The petitioner in the writ petition has nowhere stated as to under what terms and conditions the benefit of the said project would be available to the villagers or to the petitioner.
In view of the above the writ petition is misconceived and is accordingly dismissed.
