Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and Sri Ramesh Pundir, learned Standing Counsel for the State- respondents.
Demarcation of agriculture land is to be carried out in accordance with the provisions contained in Section 24 of the U. P. Revenue Code, 2006 and not by way of miscellaneous applications to the Collector or any other Revenue Authority.
We are accordingly not inclined to issue any direction to the district administration for carrying out demarcation. Appropriate remedy available to the petitioner would be to initiate proceedings under the provisions of Section 24 of the U. P. Revenue Code, 2006.
Petition is accordingly dismissed.
