This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to quash the impugned order dated 18.06.2019 passed by the District Magistrate, Gautam Budh Nagar in Case No. 01810 of 2019 (State vs. Ravindra Nagar) (Computerized Case No. D201911270001810), under Section 14(1) of the U.P. Gangster Act and Anti Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in the affidavit filed by the S.S.P. Gautam Buddh Nagar in Criminal Misc. Writ Petition No. 2692 of 2019, he has stated that the impugned FIR was lodged inadvertently against the petitioner by the then Station House Officer and he has requested for two weeks time to bring the said case to its logical end.
In view of the above, the petitioners are directed to place the said fact before the District Magistrate Gautam Buddh Nagar, who thereafter decide in accordance with law within a period of three weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of.
