List of fresh matters has been revised. Although Sri G.P. Singh for the respondents is present but none appears for the petitioner.
Petitioner wants rectification in the spelling of his name as recorded in the service book.
While entertaining the writ petition time was allowed to the counsel for the respondents to obtain instructions. Sri G.P. Singh has obtained instructions, according to which petitioner's claim is being examined in accordance with the applicable circular.
In that view of the matter, it would be appropriate to dispose of this writ petition with a direction upon respondent no.5 to accord consideration to petitioner's claim in terms of the applicable circular, by passing necessary orders, within a period of four months from the date of presentation of a copy of this order.
Writ petition, accordingly, stands disposed of.
The concerned Authority/Official shall verify the authenticity of computerized copy of this order from the official website of High Court Allahabad and shall act accordingly without waiting for submission of the certified copy of this order.
