Petitioner has retired from the employment of respondent U.P. Jal Nigam on 31.1.2019. Although other retiral benefits have been paid to the petitioner but the amount of leave encashment and interest on gratuity remains unpaid, hence this writ petition.
Learned counsel for the Jal Nigam states that petitioner's grievance would be examined and the amount found due and payable to him would be released expeditiously.
In that view of the matter, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction upon the respondent no. 1 to ensure that all outstanding dues of the petitioner, which are admissible to him, are calculated and paid within a period of four months from the date of presentation of a copy of this order.
The concerned Authority/Official shall verify the authenticity of computerized copy of this order from the official website of High Court Allahabad and shall act accordingly without waiting for submission of the certified copy of this order.
