CRIMINAL PETITION NO. 2823 OF 2012 O R D E R :
This Criminal Petition is filed to quash F.I.R. in Crime No. 158 of 2011 on the file of Station House Officer, Chodavaram Police Station, Visakhapatnam, registered for offence under section 20 (4) of A.P. Education Act, 1982.
2. No one appeared for petitioner.
3. Learned Public Prosecutor represented that police have completed investigation and filed final report treating the case as “mistake of fact”.
4. As seen from the copy of final report, dated 03/09/2012, Sub- Inspector of Police, Chodavaram after investigation referred the case as “mistake of fact” after serving notice on the complainant.
5. In view of filing final report by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Chodavaram, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
