2 Foreigner Regional Registration Officer Chennai (AFRRO) Anna International Airport Meenambakkam Chennai 600 027 ..Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of declaration, declaring that the act of the respondents in preventing the Petitioner from proceeding to Singapore on 23.07.2017 from Chennai even though the Petitioner was possessed of valid travel documents is illegal and arbitrary, violative of article 14 of the Constitution and consequently direct the respondents to name the agency and furnish the copy of the documents issued by the said agency based on which the petitioners immigration was cancelled by the respondents and the petitioner was not permitted to board the Singapore flight on 23.07.2017 despite having valid travel document For Petitioner : Mrs.Nalini Chidambaram, Sr.Cousnel for Ms.C.Uma for Mr.R.Parthiban For Respondents : Mr.T.V.Krishnamachari, SPC O R D E R Mrs.Nalini Chidambaram, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ petition with liberty to file a fresh writ petition making the Central Bureau of Investigation and other necessary parties as respondents in the writ petition. The learned counsel on record has also made an endorsement to that effect.
2. In view of the same, the Writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. Liberty is given to the petitioner to file a fresh writ petition making the Central Bureau of Investigation and other necessary parties as respondents in the writ petition in respect of the Look out circular. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
